Testimonials
We met with Can when my daughter was only nine years old. On that day, when we entered Altinyurt Sports Club in Istanbul without knowing anything about fencing, my daughter attended the first fencing training of her life. Thanks to Can’s calm, confident, professional and motivating attitude. What follows is a very long adventure. If your path crosses with Can Aydin at some point in your life during your fencing career, you are in good hands.
Thank you very much for everything Can.
Can is an excellent coach who has been part of the team supporting me in the past year.
With his careful and considerate style he has been able to extract some subtle, but important changes to my game. He can gauge the level of different areas that need either more pressure or encouragement.
Though I had some disappointment early on in the season he was able to help me build confidence in my actions to achieve success for my season goal of winning the Commonwealth Championships.
Last year, I traveled to the UK with Team New Zealand to compete at the Commonwealth Fencing Championships. While there, the team and I attended a training camp lead by coach Can Aydin at the Leon Paul Fencing Centre.
Can was incredibly attentive throughout the camp and did an incredible job getting us ready to compete. His lessons were well put together, easy to follow, and incredibly useful for my Fencing.
When I am next in London, I will be sure to grab another lesson with Can. His style of coaching was the right combination of challenging and kind. I would recommend him to any fencer looking to improve their game.
Can Aydin is a super professional coach and a great person!
For children, he was not only a coach but also a friend for my son, who is 15 years old, which I think is very important. Thanks to Can, Bohdan improved his fencing skills.
He also coached my nephew Adele. She was training with great enthusiasm and desire. During our stay in the UK, she achieved excellent results by winning 3 gold medals at U9 competitions.
Thank you Can for your professional and sensitive approach to each child!
I met my first sabre coach, Can Aydin, when I was 10 years old. Just 6 months after we started training together, I won my first championship title in U13.
He is a very good coach who really knows the technique and strategies of fencing. Thanks to him and persevering together, I became a member of National Team and had a long-lasting successful fencing career.
As a team, we experienced the pride of climbing to the 1st place in the Cadet’s World Ranking, and participating to the Youth Olympics as the first female fencer from Turkey. Together, we had achieved many more successes that will never be forgotten.
I’m glad I met you Can Coach. You were always like a brother and father to me. You touched my life and I’m now better prepared for life through fencing. I am grateful to you for all your supports and efforts.
